Service Warranty Overview

The post-service warranty applies to devices that have been serviced by an official XBody service center. This warranty covers the specific part of the device that was exchanged during the service, providing a 6-month warranty for that component.

Key Points of the Service Warranty:

  • Coverage Scope: The service warranty covers only the part that was replaced during the service. Any issues with other parts of the device are not covered under this warranty.
  • Extended Coverage: If the exchanged part causes issues with other parts of the device, the service warranty will still apply to those affected components.
  • No Extension to Base Warranty: The service warranty does not extend the device's original warranty. Instead, it provides a new 6-month warranty specifically for the replaced part.

Conditions for Service Warranty Coverage:

  1. Intended Use: The service warranty applies only to issues that arise from the intended use of the device. Any problems resulting from misuse or unintended use are not covered.
  2. Warranty Void Sticker: The warranty void sticker on the device must remain intact. If the sticker is tampered with or removed, the service warranty is void.
  3. Timely Notification: The issue must be reported within 6 months of the previous service. Delayed notifications may result in the warranty being voided.
  4. Applicability: The warranty is valid only for issues related to the part that was replaced during the service. Any other issues are not covered.

Additional Terms:

  1. Transferability of Warranty:
    • The service warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original owner of the device at the time of service.
  2. Documentation Requirement:
    • To claim the service warranty, the original service receipt or proof of service must be presented.
  3. Exclusions:
    • The service warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, wear and tear, or damage caused by environmental factors such as water, extreme temperatures, or exposure to chemicals.
  1. Procedure for Warranty Claims:
    • To make a warranty claim, contact your nearest XBody Service Point. You will be guided through the process, including how to send the device for inspection and the expected timeline for resolution.
  2. Repair or Replacement:
    • Under the service warranty, official XBody Service Points reserves the right to repair or replace the faulty part at its discretion.
  3. Shipping Costs:
    • For warranty services, XBody Service Points will cover the shipping costs for both sending the device to the service center and returning it to the customer after the service is completed.
